Aim is to promote and accelerate use of data in policies and programs for better nutrition outcome

Learning Network on Nutrition Surveillance (LeNNS) is an initiative for fostering learning and exchange of information and practices on nutrition surveillance among experts from public and research institutions, as well as their partners involved in nutrition programming and surveillance. LeNNS covers East, Central, Horn, and Southern African countries.

Participating countries are Djibouti, Malawi, Zambia, Tanzania, Rwanda, Kenya, Somalia, and Uganda. Other neighboring countries may be incorporated in the future. LeNNS membership is composed of policy-making institutions within the relevant government ministries, nutrition program implementors, research institutions, universities, and development partners including the UN agencies, non-governmental partners and donors. 

This learning network is made possible with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through its flagship multi-sectoral nutrition project USAID Advancing Nutrition
